SHILPA SHETTY’S MORNING PLATTER

Start your Morning with Shilpa Shetty’s fitness fruit platter. Take a bowl and fill it with muskmelon, pineapple, jackfruit, blueberries, papaya and coconut.

BEETROOT CHILLA

For Beetroot mixture-

  • Besan- 1 cup
  • Roasted Oat flour- ¾ cup
  • Pinch of Hing
  • Ajwain- 1/3 cup
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt as taste
  • Flaxseed powder- 1 tbsp.

Recipe-

Take a mixture bowl and add all the ingredients. Mix it with one spoon vegetable oil and water. Make a smooth batter. Put the pan on the gas lid. Put the ghee and Spread little amount of mixture like a small pancake. You can add chopped onions and chilies over it. Put the lid on and cook for a couple of minutes. Your healthy beetroot Chilla is ready.

QUINOA KHICHDI

For Khichdi-

  • 1 cup soaked Quinoa
  • ½ cup soaked Yellow Moong Dal
  • Vegetables of your choice
  • ½ tbsp each of Cumin, Mustard seeds and Hing
  • ¾ tbsp Turmeric and Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Recipe-

Firstly, steam all the vegetables and set them aside. Next, turn on the gas flame and in a pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing and finely chopped tomato, ginger and garlic.

Now add the soaked quinoa, steamed vegetables with salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Let it cook for a few minutes and serve hot.

OATS IDLI

For Idli-

  • Oats- 2 cups
  • Rawa (Sooji) – ½ cup
  • Yoghurt- 1 cup
  • Grated Carrot- 1 cup
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • Turmeric- ½ tbsp.
  • Chili as per taste
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water

For Tadka-

  • Coconut Oil- 1 tbsp.
  • Chana Daal – ½ tbsp.
  • Mustard Seeds- ½ tbsp.
  • Urad Dal – ½ tbsp.
  • Curry leaves- 3 or 4 nos.

Recipe-

Grind 2 cups of oats in a mixer grinder to make an oats powder. Take a mixing bowl and add oats powder, rawa, yoghurt, carrot, coriander, turmeric, chilli and salt. Gradually add water to make a smooth batter. Leave it for 20 minutes. Grease the Idli maker with oil. Pour the batter one by one. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes. Now take a sauce pan and add coconut oil, chana daal, mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. Stir it until it gets red. Spread it over cooked Idli.

BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER PARATHA

For Broccoli and cauliflower paratha-

  • Broccoli and Cauliflower- ½ cup chopped
  • Whole Wheat flour- 1 cup
  • Mixed herbs- 1 tbsp.
  • Salt as per taste
  • Vegetable Oil

Recipe

To make this broccoli and cauliflower paratha, take a mixing bowl and add all these ingredients mentioned here. Make a soft dough and start rolling for paratha. Put some drops of oil on the pan and spread rolled paratha evenly. Cook evenly on both sides. Enjoy it with yoghurt or chutney.

PROTEIN CHIKKI

For Chikki-

  • Jaggery powder- 200gm
  • Peanuts- ½ cup
  • Almonds- ½ cup
  • Pistachio- ¼ cup
  • Sesame seeds- 3 tbsp.
  • Flax Seeds- 2 tbsp.
  • Melon Seeds- 2 tbsp.
  • Fennel seed powder- 2 tbsp.
  • Cardamom powder- 2 tbsp.
  • Ghee-1 tbsp.
  • Salt as per taste

Recipe-

First, dry roast all the dry fruits on medium flame. After getting a little red, let them cool and peel its skin. Keep it aside. Take a pan on medium flame, put jaggery powder or crushed jaggery and stir well with ghee. Mix well until its colour gets darker. Switch off the flame and add roasted nuts. Spread on a plain surface and let them cool. When it comes to room temperature. Cut it in your favourite shape.

HEALTHY CHIVDA

For Poha-

  • Thin Poha- 250gm
  • Peanuts- ½ cup
  • Dalia- ¼ cup
  • Coconut Slices- ¼ cup
  • Curry Leaves- 5 to ten leaves
  • Some drop of Lemon
  • Olive Oil for roasting
  • Salt as per taste

Recipe

Take a pan and add some olive oil, add peanuts, dalia and curry leaves. Roast it until it gets golden. After that add thin poha and salt. Mix it well and spread coconut slices. Serve hot.

SARSON DA SAAG

  • Mustard Leaves- 1 Bunch
  • Spinach- ½ Bunch
  • Chopped Garlic- 2
  • Chopped Ginger- 1
  • Chopped Onion- ¼
  • Chilies- 2
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water- 1 Cup
  • Cornmeal- 2 Tbsp.
  • Ghee- 2 Tbsp.
  • Pinch of Asafetida
  • Garlic- 2 Cloves Finely Chopped
  • Ginger- 1 Inch Finely Chopped

Recipe

First, wash and chop 1 bunch of mustard leaves and half a bunch of spinach. Take the chopped leaves in a pressure cooker and add garlic, ginger, onion, salt to it. Add water and cook till 4 whistles. Now open the cooker and mash the greens. Mash into a thick paste. Add corn flour and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes till the mixture thickens. Keep aside. Now heat ghee in a large pan and fry garlic and ginger. Also add 1 onion and fry till it turns golden brown. Add salt to the mashed leaves and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes till the greens are fully cooked.

GREEN JUICE

To make Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s healthy morning juice, you need:

  • Apple
  • Pineapple
  • Basil
  • Ginger

Recipe

Cut all of them and clean it properly. Put it in a mixture and mix it until it gets thin juice. Strain it in your glass and enjoy!

HOMEMADE HEALTHY SALAD

For Salad-

Pumpkin
Beet
Sunflower Seeds
Flax Seeds
Chia Seeds
Olive Oil

Recipe-

Chop all your ingredients, add them to a bowl, sprinkle with chat masala and mix well! Your yummy salad is now ready to be served!
